The project aims at enhancing the overall wellbeing of the low-income families living in SDU by providing them an extended and multi-purpose living space in the community where parents can cook and do the laundry, children can study and play, and family can enjoy quality time in a larger common room. Through this project, the resilience and social capital of SDU residents would also be enhanced by developing their mutual support network and income generation skills and pulling the different community resources into this Common Home.
